Foals 2012

Our last lot of foals were born in 2012.

All are by Edindurno Glendronach.

Ellister Islay Flute foaled on the 28th March - a big, cream dun colt, named Lochindaal Campbell Pride. Pride was gelded as a yearling. He has the nice nature that all of Flute's foals have had. He is FOR SALE.

Ellister Islay Candy also foaled on the 28th March! Candy had an emergency dash to the vets at the Weipers Center in Glasgow whilst in foal so we were pleased that she delivered her filly safely. We named her Beth of Lochindaal (after our vet who coped so well with Candy's injury) & she's going to make a lovely riding pony. Beth has been sold.

Knockandy Victoria was next on the 16th April. Her first foal, we were eager to see what she'd produce she did not disappoint us having a lovely, grey dun filly. She's called Lily of Lochindaal. Lily is not for sale.

Fleetmead Shuna had her only foal with us, a grey dun filly, on the 20th April. We were so pleased as she'd not held on previous attempts and as she was in her late teens, we were giving up hope a wee bit. Sadly, Shuna died in 2013 & as we were very late in registering her foal, we named her after her dam. She's called Shuna of Lochindaal & she has been sold.

Glenedin Quartz was last to foal, her cream dun colt arrived on the 19th May. He's named Covie of Lochindaal. He was just a wee thing & was a bit slow to get the hang of sucking & developed an umbilical abcess at a few weeks old. Beth the vet to the rescue again & he was soon on the mend and got his microchip done whilst being treated. Covie is a lovely chap & has been sold.
